Hilton Garden Inn Haymarket

Purpose’s latest development project is the beautiful 117 room Hilton Garden Inn in Haymarket, Virginia. The hotel, located at the key downtown intersection in this history town of Haymarket, near Washington, D.C., features a true fourth wave coffee shop, the Crossroads Café, and a game-changing five-star restaurant and bar, the Red House Tavern. The hotel has opened to rave reviews from guests and local residents.

The Hilton Garden Inn Haymarket was a textbook case in developer/community cooperation. The town had very detailed architectural review guidelines and zoning requirements for its most valuable real estate at the intersection of Washington and Jefferson Streets. Purpose did not come into town telling them what they were going to do, but rather to ask how could we work together to achieve something that elevates the town and creates value for its residents. The beautiful hotel was built correctly utilizing those very prescient architectural guidelines. The result speaks for itself.

Fairfield Cornelia

In the summer of 2020, Purpose was introduced to a project in the town of Cornelia, nestled in the foothills of the Northeast Georgia mountains just northeast of Atlanta. A local developer had run out of steam building a hotel.

Seeing the local needs to hotel rooms including Piedmont University, local corporate businesses, and leisure travelers visiting the mountains, Purpose stepped in and recommended the project pivot to Marriott and Fairfield Inns as a perfect brand partner.

Working with Camp Investments, a savvy entrepreneurial group that had developed successful apartments in the area, Purpose weaved the entitlements and incentives into an equation that worked for all of the stakeholders, including economic development, city and county government, businesses, residents, and the University.

Home2 Manassas

Because of the success at the Hilton Garden Inn Haymarket, Purpose has purchased the franchise for a new Home2 Suites by Hilton not too far away from the first hotel. This exciting project will bring extended stay rooms to the market for the first time.

Curio Butler University

Introducing The Ross Hotel, “A Butler Revival” — a testament to the rich legacy of Butler University and an ode to its storied past, vibrant present, and promising future. Situated on the historic grounds of the university, this upscale boutique hotel is a harmonious blend of tradition and modern luxury, a place where the spirit of the Bulldogs thrives.

The very foundation of The Ross is etched in history. Once the illustrious Ross Hall, the first residence of Butler University built in 1953, it narrowly escaped the ravages of time and demolition. Thanks to a visionary local developer and University leadership, what was once a residence hall is now a magnificent symbol of rejuvenation. Each stunning piece of hand-carved Indiana limestone, narrates a tale of yesteryears, whispering stories of generations of students who once called it home.

This hotel is not just about bricks and mortar; it’s a celebration of the Butler experience. Today’s students, the heart and soul of the university, will find a space that resonates with their aspirations, dreams, and passion. Meanwhile, proud alumni — the torchbearers of the Butler legacy — can rekindle their memories, walking the same halls but with a renewed sense of belonging and nostalgia.
